I was born and raised in Finland — and yes, I’m 100% Finnish (confirmed by an actual DNA test thanks to AncestryDNA, just in case anyone was wondering). Snow, saunas, quiet strength — it’s in my bones.
But while Finland is home, my story stretches far beyond it.
I’ve lived in Australia, Malta, and spent six transformative years in China before eventually moving to the U.S. Those experiences shaped me deeply. They taught me how to adapt, how to observe, how to truly see people. When you grow up and live across cultures, you start to notice the subtle things — the body language, the emotion behind the smile, the stories people don’t always say out loud. That’s the space I love photographing in.
Now I live in Southern California with my husband and our three wildly wonderful kids. Life at our house is loud, colorful, occasionally chaotic — and completely beautiful. There’s usually music playing, snacks disappearing, and at least one child asking where their shoes are.
Before stepping fully behind the camera, I spent over a decade as an elementary school teacher, blending structure with creativity (and mastering the art of doing 27 things at once).
Photography started as a creative outlet… and quickly became a calling.
Today, I specialize in branding and portrait photography that feels clean, emotional, and intentional. I’m drawn to simple backdrops, honest expressions, and images that feel like you on your very best day. The kind that make you pause. The kind your children will hold onto someday.
I’m based in Los Angeles County — but I’ll always have a little wanderer in me.
